Rising Stars: Meet Jackiie LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackiie LA.

Hi Jackiie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up, I was always told I talked too much. But I’ve learned throughout the years that I was always a vocal person and my peers, friends and family would always come to me for advice or my opinion or just wanted to vent. I’ve always had this energy where people would gravitate to me and I could walk in any room and all the attention is on me. I’ve always performed from pre-school up into college. I love to entertain and it comes naturally. I’ve tried and did every role in entertainment from dancing to rapping to singing, photography, film, wardrobe styling, hair, writing, acting, modeling you name it I did it. That’s why I call myself the Entertainment Guru. I went to school for communications and journalism got bored dropped out and went to a radio /tv and broadcasting school where I was able to learn editing, filming and created a show.

From the moment I say myself on camera and heard my voice, I knew I wanted my own show. My father died and my mom went to prison so I left LA and moved to NYC. Living in NYC for 4 1/2 years Is where I really got introduced into the entertainment industry, I was doing music first which led me to Co-Hosting the party and bullshit show with known comedian and entertainer Jack Thriller. Being on set every Monday, I would meet a variety of different celebrities and upcoming artists and talents. Being a co-host on the Party & Bullshit Show was a blessing but my energy was much more louder than being a co-host with the Jackie Angels on the show. Jack Thriller told me one day I needed my own mic and from that day, I got a camera and mic and would do my own interviews on the side everyone in NYC would call me “LA” so I came up with “La In The Streetz” where I would interview artist and entertainers any and everywhere. I started traveling and covering all types of events on my own and ended up interviewing Cardi B, Quavo, and many more.

I eventually moved back to LA and started doing Pr/ Marketing with Artist and Talents which led me to executive producing and directing an entire show at dam dash studios with Kalisha Perera as the host. Covid Hit and I started my own show “Streetz Talk” on my own Platform “La In The Streetz” where I travel and interview artist talent and entertainers, entrepreneurs. I interviewed over 300 people in 2020 from IG Live Interviews and in person interviews! My goal is to keep being a voice for the culture and rising and elevating my platform to being the number one platform in the world. I have a way of connecting with people where they feel comfortable telling me their story. At the end of the day, everybody wants to be heard. And ‘Streetz Talk” will be the hottest talk show ever with the best interviews and coverage ever seen be for. My quote “It’s Not an Interview, It’s a Conversation” and something I live by is “I’ve come too far and fought too hard to give up now, I have a purpose and I’m going to live it”.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve gone broke and been homeless and ended up in the streets. I was balancing a street life to manage to have money and be Jackiie LA. In 2019, I went to jail and lost everything and I’ve managed not to lose myself but I’ve embraced all the trials and tribulations. I’m just happy because it molded me into being this amazing woman who is fearless.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an entertainment guru, I’ve mastered every angle of the entertainment industry. I’m a dot connector. I am an entertainment. I executive produce & direct my own show “Streetz Talk”, I do marketing and Pr/ Consulting for many artists. I specializing in making everyone look good by helping them tell and create their story all while I am telling mine.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Because the internet has taken over, I see the entertainment industry heading more towards advancement in technology.
