Rising Stars: Meet Elexus Ray

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elexus Ray.

Elexus, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began at age five participating and singing in National American Miss pageant. From that time on, I have always wanted to be in the entertainment business. I did a showcase in LA with National Performers Academy where I met with managers and agents in LA.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m very fortunate that it has been a smooth road for me. I have had a few challenges. I began in Denver, Colorado so I had to travel to LA for auditions. Which meant I could not do LA local only roles. It is much easier to pursue my career in Los Angeles.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have done several commercials and television series. I was in American Housewife and in Ice Cold Blood with Ice-T. I had the honor of working for Proctor & Gamble for Bold laundry in Tokyo, Japan. I have also done commercials for Mattel, Hulu, and recently one for Cabbage Patch kids. I have worked for Disney on Voice Over promos for Mira the Royal Detective. I also do fit modeling for Forever 21, SKIMS and several new line’s coming out! I also do Instagram influences for HH family!

Any big plans?
I love to sing and play the piano. I will continue on my musical journey as well as my acting and modeling career.
