My story begins in Afghanistan, where I was born into a very conservative culture. I immigrated to the United States at a very young age. It was a completely new place, presenting both challenges and opportunities. Determined to break through cultural barriers, I focused on education and professional development. This journey led me to found Cymbiotika, a company dedicated to improving health and wellness through high-quality supplements. The path was far from easy, but my unwavering commitment to my goals and values guided me to where I am today – leading a successful business that positively impacts lives.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. As an immigrant woman, I faced cultural and societal hurdles. Balancing the demands of a growing business with personal responsibilities was challenging. In the business realm, creating a trusted and innovative brand in the crowded health supplement market requires extensive research, dedication, and a commitment to quality and integrity. Overcoming these obstacles has been a testament to my team’s hard work and our collective vision. My husband, Shahab Elmi, has been my rock throughout this journey. His constant support and partnership have been instrumental in helping me face and conquer each challenge. In the business world, establishing Cymbiotika as a trusted and innovative brand in the competitive health supplement market demanded immense research, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to our core values of quality and integrity.

Beyond Cymbiotika, I am deeply involved in my nonprofit, Helping Hands for Afghans. This organization is a testament to my commitment to giving back to my roots providing support and resources to Afghan communities in need as they immigrate.
