Today we’d like to introduce you to Clo.
Hi Clo, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Singing has always been my calling in life. So I had to answer that call with a lot of hard work and dedication leading me to where I am today! 21 years old living my dream in LA, writing music and taking the town by storm.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest roadblock was definitely the pandemic, as it was for most artists… I had my first show booked for March 2020, and that is when LA went into lockdown. I was devastated but used this opportunity to get creative. Writing songs, building my following, safely make music videos, etc. I am grateful that the world is opening up again, and I can finally do what I love best, which is performing!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a singer-songwriter/performer and I’m best known for my music! My first single ‘Blackout’, released September 2020, now has over a million streams on Spotify which I am extremely proud of. My live show, my band, and my message are things that I believe make me stand out. I am a strong young woman who really wants to empower my generation. Music is my love language, so I’m happy that’s how I get to communicate with the world.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I am always listening to music! Literally hours a day. My favorite music platform is Spotify, and you can find all my music on there as well.
