Today we’d like to introduce you to Carris Bennett Christianson
Hi Carris, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It started at a young age, designing outfits for my Barbie dolls and creating interior mood boards to decorate their Dreamhouse. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that early passion for fashion and interior styling laid the foundation for what would eventually become my career. By the time I started college, my love for styling and aesthetics had deepened, and I knew that if I wanted a purpose-driven career that allowed me to be of service to others, which is vital to me, while also fulfilling my creative side, pursuing fashion and interiors felt like the most aligned path forward, like it was written in the stars.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ve found that the best lessons often come from the toughest experiences. I’m grounded in my personal style today, but I definitely lost my sense of self and style after having my children and taking a break from my career in fashion and interiors to care for them full-time. I dedicated any free time to volunteering at their schools, chairing events, and leading a Girl Scout troop. While it was such a special and incredibly fulfilling chapter, I remember feeling lost when it came to my personal style. Re-entering the workforce after that break brought another shift. I spent years freelancing as an entrepreneur, which came with its own unique struggles. I also returned to styling and interiors for companies I loved, ventured into modeling which gave me a greater understanding of fits and production, and collaborated with brands on social media, blending my passion for creativity and fashion in exciting new ways.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I help clients refine and curate their personal style so they confidently step into the world feeling like their best selves, ready to take on and accomplish their dreams. I specialize in fashion and interior styling, with a focus on creating curated looks that reflect each client’s personal style. It’s about presenting yourself with confidence, whether showcasing your personal style at home or through what you wear, unapologetically being strong in who you are. I believe this sense of empowerment can inspire others to do the same.
Guided by a holistic approach, I believe how we present ourselves and the spaces we reside in are deeply connected and meaningful. Personal style, wellness, and mindful living are central to my work and are reflected in every project.
Collaborating with brands and connecting with a wider audience through social media allows me to promote individuality and a holistic approach to personal style. It’s more than just styling, it’s about offering an experience that empowers people to live confident and beautifully, inside and out.
