Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I grew up in a toxic and dysfunctional environment, which gave me an impulse to want to have great things in my life. My parents never taught me to have a healthy future or studies. My dad was abusive and physically abused my mom. Arriving in the United States without knowing the language and without money was such a frustrating episode, but I was very hungry for success, which made adversity less important. Being in CA, everything was easier, people accepted me and they opened the doors for me quickly… I guess I was ready.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m very proud of myself, especially after 2020 my life has changed extremely positive. I been working in the fashion industry for two years now nonstop. My dream came true… I’m actually living my dreams. I become full-timer makeup artist a year ago. I do makeup for magazine publication and fashion shows. Also, I do makeup in my house for mostly models. In August I was in Vogue Italy, my friend took me some pictures and they accept them. It was life-changing because work for Vogue is my actually big goal, and now I know I can do it and I can smell it. I’m known for being positive on the fashion weeks. People usually are too rush and they don’t take their time to listens and give love in the middle of the event, I do. I took very seriously my profession, and I respect models a lot, I love them their are like my sisters. I think that is the reason people hired me, cuz my essence more than my skills. I think I connected with people and famous individuals very well cuz I give them and a particular experience of love and art together.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I been very focused on makeup, and I think people doesn’t know that I am a pro dancer and a stage drag queen!
