Today we’d like to introduce you to Brielle Lopez. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Brielle first started her journey as a YouTuber at the age of seven. She started her own YouTube channel doing toy unboxing. Shortly after, I created an Instagram account for her. We posted lifestyle posts, toy unboxing videos, fashion and kid-friendly makeup. Companies started reaching out to us to do collaborations with their products. We have worked with many great companies such as Florence by Mills, Bubble Skin, Blowfish Malibu, Blossom Beauty, Crocs, Casetify, MGA Entertainment, Care Bears and much more. We’ve developed a close friendship with some of them that we’ve gotten invited to their events and gotten a close look at the new upcoming products. We have also teamed up with Surfrider Foundation, Soles 4 Souls and Blowfish Malibu to clean up the beach. Every year two times a year, we help clean along the coast of Los Angeles beaches. Brielle also got the opportunity to do a special appearance at the 2020 Top-Rated by Kids Toy Awards presented by Walmart. With host DJ Khaled and Megan Trainor. We feel very honored to have the opportunity to work with these great companies and excited for new opportunities.
During the same time Brielle was doing influencing, she got scouted to be an actor by her manager. I remember her first audition was for the movie “The Little Things” featuring Denzel Washington. We did not know anything about acting and I just told her to try her best. She started taking acting classes and voice-over classes from there on. She is bilingual and that has also given her more opportunities in the industry. She is currently a SAG-AFTRA member. She loves acting now and is very dedicated. She has booked commercials for Disney, Walmart, Toyota, Verizon and others. Has done dubbing jobs for Disney. Films, “The Marriage Appp” “Overhaul”, and “Los Pacientes” on Netflix. She is currently a regular in YouTube series
‘Dhar Mann”.
Brielle also loves modeling. She’s been doing it for two years now. She has walked for some amazing designers in Los Angeles Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. She got the opportunity to meet and get walking lessons from former America’s Next Top Model contestant Kiara Belen. We plan to attend London Fashion Week this year.
Brielle was also in competitive cheerleading for three years in which she earned multiple 1st place titles. Her role was a flyer, she loved being tossed into the air and doing stunts. Unfortunately, Covid hit and the company shut down for the time being. She enjoys all types of dance, she takes dance classes occasionally and wants to join a dance team soon. Her hobbies include drawing, fashion designing, painting, playing the piano, cooking, riding her bicycle, and playing sports.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been tough along the way. With Brielle being in acting, cheerleading, influencing, and modeling our schedule were really busy. We were always on the go from school to in-person auditions in Hollywood and back home to cheer practices to doing homework and some product reviews during the week. It was hard to balance everything for mom specially because there’s two other siblings at home. My husband helped out with the kids. After Covid hit, in-person auditions switched to self-tapes at home, cheer shut down and kids were home-schooled due to schools also shutting down. It gave us a break from everything. At the moment the schedule is not as busy, we still do some in-person auditions but most are self-taped at home. Brielle has not returned to cheer but is taking dance classes, runway walking classes along with voice coaching and acting classes. Brielle is also back to in-person school.
Brielle has gone through so many auditions, days studying and memorizing lines, coaching, and we have had our hopes up for many roles but unfortunately, it’s a very competitive industry. You don’t always book and it is disappointing but that’s just how it is. She has also been on hold for a few projects and later let go because they ended up choosing somebody else for the role. However, when you do get that call from your agent to let you know you booked it’s an emotional excitement type of feeling that’s hard to explain. I always tell Brielle do not give up. Keep trying because it’s going to make you a better actor and see it as practice. Due to acting, she was also homeschooled. It was hard to balance acting and school. She missed a few days here and there due to acting and that would cause her to fall behind. Therefore I had to put her in home school. At first, she was not happy. She missed her friends and just the ambience of school itself. She later adapted and liked it much better because she could work on her own pace.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My mom has been my biggest supporter. She has motivated me and helped me throughout my journey. She has been with me every step of my journey in acting, influencing, modeling and cheer. She always encourages me to do my best and never give up in anything I do. She takes me to my acting classes, auditions, dance, cheer competitions and runs all my social media accounts.
My manager, agents, and acting coaches have also helped me in my acting journey. They are attentive and help me with resources. My cheer coaches were also very encoring and pushed me to do my best during practices. They made sure we gave one hundred percent every time we had practice and competitions. My best friend Khloe has also been a great supporter. She’s also an actor and dancer and she understands the industry. She’s an amazing dancer and takes the time to help me with my dance moves. We’re always doing dance TikTok together.
