Today we’d like to introduce you to Bonnie Bloomgarden.
Hi Bonnie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
When I was a kid, I was obsessed with Billie Holiday! I knew when I grew up I wanted to be a musician. I had no idea what that meant, but I wanted my job to be getting paid to sing and help people celebrate life!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nope! Life and art is too vague for smoothness! Because being an artist is a full-time job, it’s just your life, every aspect of it. No one really gets paid to experience life! And musicians really don’t get paid at all anymore.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am in Death Valley Girls! We are a rock and roll band! We specialize in channeling music from cosmic beings and trying to help people heal and celebrate life! We have toured for over seven years, minus the last few causes of this pandemic! During the pandemic, we have been able to release a little bit of music, but almost all of our money comes from shows, so that has been tough. We started a paranormal/hero podcast called Death Valley Girls Podcast and that has been super fun!
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can listen to our music and share it with their friends! They can listen to our podcast and share that with their friends! They can ask us to write songs for them too! Writing for people’s shows, movies, and commercials has been a lifesaver during the pandemic.
