Hi Betsy Cox, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. We are creatives not tech people. But everything has been figureoutable (yes that is a word) so far. We have learned about lighting and editing and marketing by tapping into our network and knowing when to ask for help when we need it. We are still learning and pivoting and finding the best way to connect with our audience. We recently had our first guest and it was such a fun episode but it did create some challenges during editing. We are constantly thinking of ways to improve and probably will continue to do so because that is just part of the fun.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We both have a background in writing as well as stand up comedy. Betsy has written several screenplays and pilots. Hillary has written several pilots as well. At the core we are story tellers with a knack for getting to the funny. I think what sets us apart from others is the ability to let it all out. We are not shy about saying the thing that maybe needs to be said but isn’t by people who have a filter. We also have a special friendship that I think shines thru and there is a deep love and understanding as well as empathy that comes thru even when we are joking around just making fun of our husbands or talking about penises.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think there will be a shift towards AI (duh) and we all have fears around that. Will we have jobs?! But I think after an influx of AI people will return to what they love and that is listening to humans, connecting on a human level. There will we so much fake stuff out there that I think people will year to consume something they know is real and not selling them something that a corporation or bot has constructed. I also hope that there will be social media platforms where content is vetted in a way that is more palatable and less divisive.
