Rising Stars: Meet A’noelle Jackson

Today we’re excited to be connecting with A’noelle Jackson again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

A’noelle , always such a pleasure connecting with you and thank you for sharing your stories, insights and inspiring messages with our community. We’re looking forward to getting the download and what you have been up to since our last interview, but first can you briefly introduce yourself to folks who might have missed the prior conversation.
What’s up world! It’s your girl A’Noelle Jackson and I am a multi-hyphenate. I am a 7-time award-winning producer who is fully committed to creating content that liberates marginalized voices. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, I moved to Los Angeles, CA with less than $2000.00 in my bank account. My life journey feels like a sequence of moments, interwoven into a beautiful screenplay.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
On February 1st, 2025, I officially launched my production company, The Fearless Actress Company. For so long, I’ve hidden behind helping other people make their dreams come true. Servant leadership is powerful but knowing when to step into your power is critical. For many years, my company existed on paper, but not in action or execution. I’ve produced an award-winning feature documentary, Bad Ass Women Doing Kick Ass Shit, highlighting the former Senator of Washington, Mona Das, and 8 other women of color running for office in the United States back in 2020. We secured a distribution deal in 2024 and the film is now available on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, YouTube TV, and more!

My second project, Outlawz dropped on February 1st, 2025 on my YouTube channel. This short film is a modern-day western about two vigilante women going to the bar and two undercover cops invade their space. Lastly, I’ve produced and directed my first music video under my production company. More details coming soon!

I am so proud of these accomplishments and I feel like I am just beginning. Shout out to my amazing mentor, W. Kamau Bell, and the Unlock Her Potential program (thank you Sophia Chang and the gang) for providing the pathway for me.

We have now arrived at one of our favorite parts of the interview – the lightning round. We’ll ask you a few quick questions to give us all some fun insights about you.

What are you most excited about in the coming year?
I am so excited about standing in my own power. For many years, I’ve helped people realize their dreams. I’ve encouraged my mentees to use their voice to create their story while suppressing my own. Not anymore.

As my dad always said, “You must focus on your own piece of the pie. Don’t worry about anyone else.”

I finally understand what he meant. Thank you Dad and I love you.

I wish my dad, Leslie H. Jackson, were alive to see this next chapter. Therefore, I dedicate this declaration to him.
