Today we’d like to introduce you to Aly Jade.
Hi Aly, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started out on social media as a dancer in 2017. I also started a YouTube at the time to document and do daily vlogs. I took some time to start growing but I had discovered “musically” which is TikTok now and grew a fam base from many different apps. I began acting shortly after, after a year of doing auditions in my hometown, I got booked doing background in LA! This was gonna be my first time traveling to LA so I was super excited but also nervous! Me and my mom fell in love with LA and saw a whole different side of the industry. We ended up going more for collabs and photoshoots. After four years of back and forth, we realized I need to get a place to make it easier, so I got my first apartment at 15 me and my mom stayed there for a year and finally the whole fam moved! It was a very long journey! Over time I’ve grown so much on social media, and in 2021 I filmed in Am I Ok as a younger Dakota Johnson! It was an amazing experience and made me love acting even more!! I recently started music and have met super talented people in this industry to help me in my career and find new goals! I released That One featuring my friend Max Louis! Right now, I am focusing on my social media, acting and music. I’m so grateful to have a supportive family, it’s definitely easier to have people by your side along the way.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being in the industry and a specially social media there’s always drama, competition and it’s super hard to trust people. You just have to do what’s best for you no matter what!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve always loved creating videos and just making content for others. Something that I’m known for is my relatable content on TikTok and reels. I’m most proud of how connected I am with my fam base. I try to be as active on social media as possible!
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Something that I wish I could have told myself to be confident and do me! I was always in my head about what others thought and I’ve learned to not care because people want the real you not that fake you plus what’s fun in being fake? So do you boo!!
