Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Zaw and Ashley Obregon.
Zaw Studios was established in 2012 and the Studio finished construction in 2013 specializing in Photography, and Videography Aerial Drone Services as well as Voice Overs and Stage Rentals.
They worked with a wide variety of clients from up and coming filmmakers to big name YouTube Artist as well as Corporate clients, and small businesses.
A major part of Zaw Studios mission was to bridge the gap between dreams and reality helping create content for profit as well as the non-profit sectors.
Then in 2016, Ashley Obregon joined forces with her Company titled “Picture The Difference” the two became an incredible combination as she focused her talents in photography and her love of charity work to tell stories and Adrian Zaw’s love of storytelling through video.
As a team, they traveled the world seeking other like minded entrepreneurs to join the growing family of passionate story tellers, photographers and filmmakers with the common goal of empowerment, charity work and revolutionizing the way we make content.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As Tony Robbins once said, “It’s not the lack of resources, it’s your lack of resourcefulness that stops you.”
For Adrian Zaw and Ashley Obregon their journey to where they are today transpired through their own set of challenges and obstacles.
For Ashley, trials and tribulations are kin to those of any young struggling entrepreneurs. From struggles with self confidence, and doubt to finding peers with the same common goal.
For Adrian, the challenges were discovering that the journey to becoming an entrepreneur may often a lonely one. One of the biggest struggles is coming to terms with the level of sacrifice one needs to make in order to succeed. That means saying good bye to safe, farewell to normal, and hello to unpredictability and embracing uncertainty.
Zaw Studios & Picture the Difference – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
For Zaw Studios, we came into the market place with one goal, and that was to fulfill a need faster and better than our competition. Embracing new technologies and embarking on new industries to stay on the cutting edge of innovation.
From being the first few to specialize in Aerial Drone Videography to 360 Videos, the journey to adapt to the market’s need is a constant challenge.
Our next ventures are to revolutionize the way we create social media content with Speed, Mobility and Quality. What took our competitors weeks and months to produce, we are able to deliver in a matter of a few hours. Keeping up with today’s fast moving social sphere and hunger for quality content quickly.
For Picture the Difference, it was about taking the art of photography beyond just the technical realm of creation but understanding the psychology of why we do what we do in order fulfill the needs of their client to the next level. Understanding and empowering people, businesses, and brands with compassion and commitment.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
When you walk into Adrian’s office at Zaw Studios, you’ll be overwhelmed with pictures of past projects, high profile peers, and associates and even a picture with him and President Barrack Obama in the Oval Office. Awards upon awards, and certificates of appreciation for his charitable works throughout the years.
But when you ask him which is the proudest moment, he would simply shrug his shoulders, and admit that it was just mere surviving another day as a business owner. Meeting his overhead month to month, and that his joys comes from serving his purpose of helping others succeed through his passion.
“It’s not my personal success that should impress you, but the success of my clients that grew in association that gives me the butterflies and excitement.” From working alongside associates like Dona Chen owner of Buzzhive Productions and to investing and developing Ashley Obregon, the journey is never ending.
For Ashley Obregon and Picture the Difference, her proudest moment came to her when she realized the possibility of her ambitions and being able to carve a path for others to follow, be inspired and also make a difference.
