

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zack Yildirim.
Zack, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started in the apparel decorating business in 2014. Back then I was living in a 2 bedroom apartment with my wife, 2 month daughter and our dog. I purchased all of the necessary equipment (basic heat press, transfer papers, inkjet printer, vinyl cutter, etc.) and converted the second bedroom into an office space to create shirts. I was creating the designs, uploading them to marketplaces such as eBay, Etsy and Amazon, and doing my best to get the attention of buyers. I knew early on that the key to bringing in sales was to increase the number of designs I had to offer. Time, patience, and consistency were the key elements to turning this at home operation into a sustainable business.
I remained consistent in adding new designs daily and within 2 weeks my first sale happened. This initial sale gave me the confidence I needed to keep going. I immediately set up goals for myself to serve as markers for progress. After the first month, my goal was to make 1 sale a day. That month I made 42 sales. I then set a new goal of 3 sales per day – which also happened. After some time, my sales picked up to 50-60 a day. With my wife helping me pack shirts and help with new design ideas, business began to boom.
Not too long after, my spare bedroom could no longer accommodate the growing business. In fact, the business had taken over most of my apartment. My living room was filled with shirts! Within 12 months, we moved to a house with a garage and ran the business from there. That year, I purchased my first Direct to Garment Printer and hired 1 employee. 1 employee increased to 4, and after two years of running my business from a garage, I moved to a warehouse. It has been one year in my new warehouse and we currently have 11 employees, more equipment, and are receiving an average of 700 online orders a day. I am currently looking for a bigger warehouse to accommodate the projected growth of the business and I couldn’t be more excited! Time, patience, and consistency has grown Elosh Clothing from its humble beginnings operating out of a spare apartment bedroom to what it is today, and I couldn’t be more proud.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It wasn’t so smooth, there were many struggles on the way, such as finance issue. First 12 months was very tough, I didn’t work anywhere else, we just had a new born baby so my wife couldn’t work either, we did struggle financial wise, but it’s all good, it’s over now.
Elosh Clothing – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We specialize in Direct to Garment Printing. It is an advanced module of printing that is different from Traditional Screen Printing. We use industrial grade Direct to Garment Printers which unlike Tradition Screen Printing, don’t have any quantity or color limitations. Thus, we are able to give our customers exactly what they want.
We also offer Print on Demand services (commonly referred to as drop shipping) for local businesses and resellers. Resellers make a sale, we get notified, and we process and ship their orders on their behalf. This service allows resellers to focus on growing their businesses because of the time saved in processing orders. This is also a popular option for resellers due to eliminating the need to keep any inventory in stock. No matter what the order quantity is – whether it’s just one t-shirt or 100pcs – we treat them all the same and have their orders shipped within 2 business days. There are very few companies in US that offer this kind of service and we are proud to be one of them.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I am proud to see what we have become and keep growing at the same speed. We are still in the beginning process, so there is a lot to go from this point. Another proud moment is seeing our resellers grow, it means we are doing our job right!!
