Today we’d like to introduce you to Yuri Fujiwara.
Yuri, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I had been working at Tokyo for 18 years as a hairstylist. That experience made great skills for my life but other hand it was crazy. I was just tired everyday to work from early morning to almost midnight. One day I decided to go another county for my life by my intuition. Then I met my Reiki teacher. Actually, I didn’t have any knowledge about Reiki until I meet her and I was negative about that kind of thing, but now I’m very positive for it.
After took a Reiki training, I was thinking how can I give Reiki session to my customer. Fortunately, I have been working as a hairstylist at west Lo Angeles and I do scalp massage Treatment at hair salon. I thought I can make new style of Reiki Treatment with scalp massage Treatment. Then I made Reiki head spa.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I didn’t feel it was tough. Because to work with Reiki power for my customer, I also receive good energy circulation from Universe. I feel only positive benefits.
Please tell us about Impression Hair Salon.
I’m a hairstylist also Reiki practitioner. I’ve been working in this industry for 24 years. I met many people through my work. I feel many people need relaxation, meditation to listen what you feel in your life and what do you hope? Through my work, if I can help someone. I’m very happy.
Our salon try to make good environment for customers relax hour.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I used to had another first name that Sonomi. One day My mom went to see fortune teller to know family future. Her fortune teller gave my mom some advice. Finally my dad, older sister, me changed our fast name for happy future. Also, I grew up by open relationship parents. Like these things, I grew up in a unique family.
