Meet Wilson Ramirez of Hard Fighting Soldier Apparel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Wilson Ramirez.

Wilson, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started the clothing line a few years ago because I wanted to promote a clean and conscious lifestyle. Hard Fighting Soldier or God’s soldier is for those that walk the walk the best that they can in this very scary world. The temptation is around every corner and getting out of character can sometimes entangle in troubles. I like to look at H.F.S.A. as the Armor Of God for when we need to remind ourselves that Life isn’t easy. Be like the Fruits of the Spirit and keep moving forward. I’m working on creating some catchphrases so that people of this world can feel honored to wear my clothing line because it helps them with whatever they are going through.

Has it been a smooth road?
Well, money is always a factor and as a very small homegrown business, you want to be able to put out the best designs possible. There really is no room for error. You want to make small runs and see what the consumer is attracted to. It can be very frustrating at times because you can feel good about a design but it isn’t as attractive as you thought. So then its back to the drawing board. lol!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Well, I’m an actor. I have been doing it for 8 years now. It’s very gratifying. I own a small clothing business called H.F.S.A. I have another one called Christian Walk Wear. These are my two babies. I think what sets us apart is staying grounded with what we give the people. The consumer is being led the wrong way with violent or seductive messages.

We want to show love and understanding of our product by embodying respect, honor and trust. A lot of companies go with the flow and we want to be able to show a different way that is intriguing and beneficial to peoples spirits.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
L.A. is a great city. The fashion here is barred none.
