Today we’d like to introduce you to Vincent Uribe.

Hi Vincent, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers? 
My name is Vincent Uribe JR. I was born in Orange County, and I’ve been here my whole life, and since 7th grade I’ve been working with my family. I started off by doing landscaping, 2 years later my parents opened up a restaurant with my uncle and stopped after I graduated high school to open up our own. I was going to Fullerton college and dropped out to continue on growing the restaurant business. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been easy since their have. Been a lot of obstacles since we opened up during Covid. And the break-ins we’ve had in the past.

Taqueria el Viejon is an authentic Mexican taco shop (Taqueria), and we use our home style recipes to serve our clients. We are from Guadalajara and Guerrero, Mexico. And what makes is apart from other taquerias is our flavor especially on the alpastor which is cooked on the rotating rotisserie and our tripas which takes 4 hours to make. And on the weekend, it’s our menudo with handmade tortillas made from 100% corn (masa) 

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I like about my city is that I can go off-roading with my jeep rubicon on my free time and what I don’t like about my city is the gas prices because I’m always on the move
