Hi Via, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My Journey
Hi, my name is Via and I am a Nurse Anesthesiologist. I have spent 13 years taking care of people as a Critical Nurse doing bedside nursing and more than 5 years providing anesthesia for multiple outpatient surgical centers. Along the way I had my own ups and downs with beauty, confidence, and overall wellness. I had my own personal journey when it comes to my own skin and body. Little by little, I learned how much feeling good on the inside and outside can truly change a person’s life.
Somewhere in that process, I found myself dreaming about creating a space where I could help others feel the same sense of confidence and balance that I worked hard to find. It wasn’t easy. I have spent years attending Aesthetics conferences and learning about beauty products and skin treatments especially Korean skincare. I even went to Korea few years ago to try their skin treatments and research about K beauty products. Korea is popular in the aesthetic world because it delivers natural, glowing results through innovative technology and preventive care. I was impressed how Koreans combines advanced procedures, trend-setting ingredients, and affordable accessibility, making healthy, youthful skin achievable for many. I was fascinated by the result of my facial treatments and enjoyed the Korean culture, so that was the time that really fueled me to dive deep into aesthetics and wellness. I told myself, how cool it will be to bring, share with others what I learned and experienced in Korea when I have my own space in the US.
While building my business, I had my doubts on how to run a business. It definitely didn’t happen overnight, but I kept pushing forward with the vision that I want to accomplish. After years of patience, perseverance and hard work, Via Aesthetics & Wellness was launched on August 2024.
Having built my own aesthetics business still feels unreal. It’s personal, it’s meaningful, and it’s something I’m genuinely proud of. Every person who walks through my door is a reminder of why I started. It is to help others feel good about themselves, inside and out, just like how I learned to do it for myself.
Whether I am giving anesthesia or waking up my patient’s glow in my medspa, I have only one mission, that is to make a positive impact by helping others feel cared for, valued, and truly themselves.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was not easy. The vision of aesthetic business commenced back in 2000 simultaneously when I started my nursing program. I always have passion for both. Finally, after graduating anesthesia school in 2020, aesthetics dream was also revived. I started doing conferences and classes for both aesthetics and Korean beauty. It was hard to build my business in the beginning. It was challenging to learn how to establish a business, learning the legalities and surrounding yourself with the right team. I questioned myself can I really do this? What if I fail? What if there are no clients? Along the way, I also learned that you will meet and gain new friends and unfortunately lose some as well. God has been great and everything happens for a reason. Slowly I was able to surround myself with the right individuals and friends who inspired me and supported me. Gradually overtime, I built a clientele that believed in me and trusted my work.

Via Aesthetics & Wellness specializes in skincare and facial treatments like wrinkle relaxers, injectables, facials, microneedling, lasers, non surgical facelift, IV hydration, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections, hair restoration, skin boosters, weight loss and more. Every treatments and products we offered, have been tried on ourselves.
We are known for our Medical grade aesthetic and wellness treatments by trained clinicians run by a power couple Nurse Anesthesiologist and Registered Nurse. We emphasize in designing individualized treatment plans that suit each client’s skin concerns, body goals, and wellness needs rather than using a “one-size-fits-all” approach. We also use combination treatments that gives the best results for our patients.
Our patients trust our expertise, but what sets us apart is how at home they feel with us, how attentively we listen to their concerns, and how much more confident they feel after their treatments. Our goal for each client is to enhance their natural beauty that is already within. It’s truly humbling to have built a relationship with clients from the trust they’ve placed on us. Through our authenticity and genuine care, we make everyone feel like family after each treatment.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Attending conferences and classes expanded my knowledge in Aesthetics and wellness. Through the years, I met different people in the business. I am very fortunate that I also met people that are willing to help and guide me. I’ve connected with wonderful individuals in the aesthetics field who are always ready to offer support. My advice is don’t hesitate to ask. You got to try to just ask other people for help. You will be surprised that there are other people that are genuinely happy to help you be successful in this business. I want to return that favor to people that also want to start their aesthetics business. I always say collaboration over competition.
