Meet Venus Romana of Wombreiki in Encinitas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Venus Romana.

Venus, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My awakening process began after my older brother died 11 years ago. With the loss I experienced and the heartbreak, it broke me into a million pieces that lead me to a deeper self-study of my soul and use of my unique spiritual healing and psychic gifts. Soon after I graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Framingham State University I drove across the country from Boston MA to San Francisco, CA after quitting my corporate job and felt an inner call for greatness. Preface I had no job lined up, no connections and never been to California. Even after getting a degree and working at the best places and having the “dream job” working as a color producer for Sephora Corporate in San Francisco, I was still feeling empty inside, my passion was lost and thus knew I was destined for bigger things.

I proceeded to follow my heart as an entrepreneur and got my training as a yoga teacher, Karuna Ki Reiki Master, hypnotherapist and birth doula. The tools in my tool belt continue to grow and create more room for transformation for my clients. Having the pleasure from living in San Francisco, Santa Monica and now San Diego I feel extremely blessed. My business direction came to me in writing in 2018 I sat down to write and then channeled all this information on womb healing and womb health for women and children coming into new families. At this point, I was still living in LA and only mostly teaching Reiki and yoga. I remember I felt the call again into something bigger than me and so I just remained open and followed my heart. This is how wombreiki came about. My sessions now are purely channeled from great angelic beings who I assist for each client, I mostly work in the quantum field and find each session unique as our fingerprints.

Has it been a smooth road?
No. The most recent growth happened last year when I was sexually assaulted last Feb. This leads me through a huge identity shift, healing and transformation. I recently changed my name to Venus Romana, my birth name is Celia Gellert. I had shifted so much one day I woke up and didn’t feel connected to “Celia” anymore. So Venus was born and I feel completely new.

Here is one of the articles from what happened. During this time I had to rename my private business which was AWE NOW assisting women’s empowerment.

Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
My company is called Wombreiki. I specialize in womb healing, doula work and womb healing training. Womb healing training is completely channeled from the Divine, a gift. I am proud to have a company that is positively empowering women through reclaiming their personal power with grace and integrity. What sets me apart from others is my knowledge, wisdom and channel of light that I am for the Divine to flow through me and be of service to the woman who needs help.

I recently just launched a new side project called Her Life Matters which is starting as a podcast where women anonymous or not, share their empowering birth stories. I noticed there was not a lot of positive birth content out there that was mainstream for women to turn to to get educated and feel supported about the whole birth process. The power of story and community is so healing that I decided to build this for the platform. Her Life Matters will also be made into a mini-series where I will interview a range of people from doctors, shamans, nurses and healers to get a wider scope on birth and pregnancy. I hope to change the way pregnancy is mostly viewed today which is gross, painful and fear-based. Birth is such a huge part of life that is should be honored, encouraging women to listen to their own bodies not just doctors. I am deeply connected to helping the new souls coming down to earth and to create a beautiful life. Life is so precious and inspiring I hope my work inspires and encourages the dreamers to keep dreaming.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes LA is an amazing city, it is where I truly stepped into my Entrepreneurial spirit, it will shake you and show you what you are really made of. It’s a place to discover yourself and know who you really are. It helped me so much I cannot voice it enough. LA is a city where the dreamers, way-showers and believers of this world come through. If someone is just starting out I would recommend they remain open and stay grounded in their values and beliefs as there are so many people and groups and directions to go. Staying connected to your dreams, your vision and the real you is key.
