Meet Vatche Markarian of The Audio Pros in Toluca Lake

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vatche Markarian.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my company in July 1992 when a custom car stereo systems and auto alarms were as important as an oil change. Of course, some businesses change. Our profession is constantly changing and evolving, Vehicles started coming with remote keyless entries and many of them with decent sound systems. We had to be ready to provide our clients with the latest trends. For example, we started installing lots of Bluetooth systems even before it was a law.

Today, we are still doing well and we are ready whatever the future will bring us.

Has it been a smooth road?
It was not smooth at all. Right after I relocated my shop in January 2001 the unfortunate events of September 11 occurred and affected my business tremendously.

Let’s not forget the housing market meltdown at the end of 2007 and the following few years.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Audio Pros – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We do custom vehicle upgrades, anything from custom sound systems, vehicle security, window tinting, radar detectors, back up sensors, Bluetooth devices, navigation, and etc.

I believe the only reason my business is still open, because the special service we provide to our clients. We don’t advertise, our sole source of the new clientele is from referrals.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The diversity and the weather.
What I don’t like, it’s, of course, the traffic.
