Meet Vartan, Sarkis and Arthur Grigoryan of Verona Quartz Surfaces

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vartan, Sarkis and Arthur Grigoryan.

Vartan, Sarkis and Arthur Grigoryan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We are third Generation stone craftsmen. Our family has been in the Tile and Stone industry for a long time. Growing up we remember when Natural Stone was very popular. Our father was in the Natural Stone Import/ Export for many years. From Beautiful Granite selections to Exotic Marbles he was distributing natural stone. Leading up to and following the recession majority of the clients were conservative on using Exotic Marbles so they were going to alternatives like Formica or Corian based countertops. Although you do not get a luxury finish but you do save a few dollars..

Having the experience through the years we saw the downfall of Natural stone and a high demand in engineered countertops. There were several options in engineered countertops, but the most cost effective and durable product was- Quartz Slabs. However the color selections available in engineered Quartz Countertops at time were only plain Solid Colors.

When we started our Brand: VERONA QUARTZ, our key purpose was to do what other brands didn’t. We innovated the countertop industry by introducing Colors that have same look and feel of the Luxurious Marble and Granite but without the maintenance worry. Our products are designed with the Inspiration of the Italian Exotic Marbles. Each color selection we offer is handcrafted to achieve the natural essence. By using the right production procedure we achieved the Luxury Marble look with Quartz Slabs.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being a family owned company, we were able to support one another to grow the company to where it is now. To say it is the smoothest process, not particularly. We came across a lot of hurdles but nothing was impossible. Quality control is a key component for our supply chain. We inspect our slabs and make sure every slab that is produced and sold by our Brand Verona Quartz is backed by our Lifetime warranty.

Verona Quartz started with the idea of supplying Quartz Slabs that have the same look and feel of the Natural stone. Once we achieved that, the hard part is maintaining the high quality the demand is seeking.

Enjoying what we do just makes our work more efficient and fun.
