Meet Valentina Abdullina of AuthenticPilates OC in Tustin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Valentina Abdullina.

Valentina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was certified in NYC by Romana’s Pilates and have been teaching for over 5 years.

When I moved to Orange County, I was in search of classical pilates/Romanas Pilates studio to work at. I was very fortunate to find Tiziana Trovati at Trovati Pilates works. About a few years ago, Tiziana moved to Costa Rica and I took over the studio. And Authentic Pilates OC was founded and been in Tustin for the last 1.5 years.

Has it been a smooth road?
Finding Romana’s Pilates Studio in Orange County fully equipped with Gratz.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Small/boutique pilates studio, specializes in one on one private Pilates sessions. I’m only Romana’s Pilates studio in Orange County. Prior me was Trovati Pilates works. I teach an authentic/classical method that was created by Joseph Pilates. I’m fully equipped with Gratz equipment, which is the closest design to the original Pilates apparatuses.

Romana was a protege of Joseph Pilates, after his death, she continued the legacy of Pilates and opened her studio in NYC. She directly learned pilates from the Joseph Pilates and carried on and passed on to her students the principals from the creator himself.

It is very intensive training, the requires about 600 hours of participation and observation of the other experienced teachers.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, Southern California is very health/fitness oriented and any business that provides any type of health-oriented services will do great here.
