Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Madrigal.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Rachel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started practicing photography at a very young age, it progressed from a hobby to a passion, to a career. I worked a full-time job for seven years before going full time with photography, it was so challenging working 8 hour five days a week then shooting on the weekends. I knew I need to take a risk and just go full force with photography. I mainly stated with lifestyle sessions such as maternity sessions, engagement and family, and then wedding photography. It wasn’t till about two years ago when I got the calling to photograph healers and spiritual entrepreneurs. I knew in my heat it was a path I must follow to help raise the vibration of our community and the world. And so Twin Flame Photography was born.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. It took a lot of dark days and growth to get the courage to start a photography business. I had a lot of self-doubts that I had to overcome. But thankfully, I had a lot of support from my husband, who pushed me to follow my dream of being a full-time photographer. I couldn’t of done this without him.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Twin Flame Photography – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I specialize in two areas of photography, weddings and lifestyle and healers/spiritual entrepreneurs. I keep these two photography styles separate under two different brands Rachel Madrigal Photography and Twin Flame Photography.
With Twin Flame Photography, I’m very proud of the specific group of people I get to work with, together we create some of the most stunning images highlighting their healing work. I also get to be super creative making graphic images for them.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I would love to be able to travel for photoshoots, this is one of my main goals. See all the wonders of our world while photographing my clients. It would be so thrilling!
