Meet Trevor Lyons

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevor Lyons.

Trevor, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Where do I begin, going from high school in Texas to living life in LA. Crazy right, it’s almost like it was a dream come true. In six straight months, I went from a high school student to an influencer, hanging around with all the big names and even having a name for myself.

When I was younger, I planned on being famous, you know the dream where the kid walks into a restaurant or going to a movie premiere signing autographs everyone taking pictures that kind of thing, everyday I dream to be that person… everyone does. But that’s a dream, the reality is that where I am today is thanks to my friends and family around me, guiding me and making me who I am today that I realize that dream can be a reality with them believing in me and me believing in myself.

Has it been a smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road to get here, no… not at all. When I left Texas, I left with very little to LA. As a young teen, I thought I could live off ramen every week and boy was I wrong… You soon realize you can’t live like that, so I had to become a young adult and grow up. Also, not to mention I had one friend when I moved to la, so it’s very hard to go from knowing everyone to knowing no one… one struggle I had to overcome was being myself and not letting “la change me” which in time it did. Though changing my style was fun, I had to realize it wasn’t me, and sometimes the path I was going down wasn’t always me either. But each time, I learned and overcame obstacles eventually bringing me to myself today…

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am an influencer, but influencing isn’t something I want to always do. I want to be an actor and model, and am currently going to acting school. I’m very proud that I have something that a lot of people don’t have and that’s a drive to do something if I see something I want. I do it!

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I feel like if all goes to plan, I could be a big model or actor, maybe even both if I play my cards right. But if it doesn’t work out, I am currently going back to college to study for Marketing & Business and hoping to open my own business one day. I hope to have a family & or traveling with my gf going on trips and having the time of our lives.
