Today we’d like to introduce you to Toni Ferrara.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Fifteen years ago, I made my way to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of being a Celebrity Fashion Stylist. I’m happy to say that for over a decade, I was wildly successful styling celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kate Beckinsale, and Matthew McConaughey. While styling, I was also a contributing editor for InStyle magazine and was the Fashion Editor for Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine.
It was those years working closely with Hollywood’s A-Listers, up and comers and brands that would lead to long-lasting relationships. Those relationships would help to pivot to design then ultimately taking a decade of strong industry contacts to start Ferrara Media.
Ferrara Media is a boutique full-service digital media firm that represents Influencers & Brands. Matchmaking Influencers with strategic brands that they love and that their audience resonates with is a WIN! WIN!
We specialize in Fitness, Fashion & Lifestyle. Our clients range from Celebrity Fitness Trainers to TV Hosts to Super Bowl Champions. It’s our goal to disrupt the Influencer space with authentic storytelling and captivating content. We build relationships through community engagement and real conversations.
Our brand partners are more than just a social media campaign they are our extension of our family. We work closely with the brands to deliver messaging that is imaginative and impactful.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s never an easy road and I wouldn’t choose it any other way. Surround yourself with people who inspire you. Listen to audiobooks on personal development. I thought for sure, I’d always be a stylist but my decade of experience and valuable contacts (and the Universe) had other plans.
My advice for anyone who is pivoting in their career path is to follow their heart and passion. And to always remain grateful. You can turn your passion into a paycheck.
We’d love to hear more about Ferrara Media.
Respected industry powerhouse, Toni Ferrara brings 15+ years of experience in Public Relations, Brand/Influencer Strategy, and Creative Direction specializing in both luxury & lifestyle brands. Her ability to leverage her relationships with brands she’s been working with her entire career allows her to build successful campaigns with influencers that garner both visibility to her clients and to the brands, resulting in long term deals.
Toni believes it all starts with creating conversations by educating the brands on her client’s brand mission and giving them interesting branded content to share. To her, you must shape the conversation, never force it. The resulting stories, content, and chatter is natural, organic and persuasive—and the reach is impactful.
I am committed to a savvy, proactive approach to strategic brand partnerships. I’ve established long-standing, successful relationships with top editors, media outlets, agencies, and in-house brand marketing teams.
I don’t only consider myself as your Director of Brand Partnerships, but strive to be a strategic partner and invaluable member of your team. In the digital world, bigger isn’t better; Better is better! That is why my personal, white-glove approach to each of my clients is always customized to my clients’ specific needs and that is what sets me apart.
Do you recommend any apps, books or podcasts that have been helpful to you?
I love a lot of apps but one of my favorites is the Planoly app for laying out grids for Instagram. I don’t believe in using it to post but my college friend Brandy Pham and her husband created it and I find it extremely helpful for my Influencers to stay “on Brand.”
Right now, School of Greatness by Lewis Howe’s is my go-to podcast. He’s very honest and insightful with guests who share their unique perspective and stories about their triumphs and struggles.
I also think personal development audiobooks are important to keep focused on ALL Entrepreneurs. Some of my favorite books are “The Universe Has Your Back” by Gabby Bernstein, “The Subtle Art of Giving a Fck” by Mark Manson, “The 5 Second Rule” by Mel Robbins, “Crushing It” by Gary Vaynerchuk, “Girl Wash Your Face” by Rachel Hollis, to start with!
