

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sloane Elizabeth.
Sloane, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my Instagram page @kaleandkravings after my freshman year of college. I’ve always been super entrepreneurial and creative in the kitchen (I had a baking business in high school!) and I wanted to start sharing my recipes on Instagram. I was personally struggling with my health – I wanted to eat in a more nutritious way while I was at school, and I was working on my body image – and my brand became the best healing tool I could find. Throughout my years of school at Vanderbilt University, I continued to grow my brand and community – I wrote a book called Kale & Kravings, competed on (and won!) Food Network’s Chopped U, led countless workshops on nutrition and wellbeing, collaborated with over 100 brands, and finally graduated know that I already had a career that I LOVED! After traveling in Europe and Bali for a couple of months, I finally expanded my coaching practice to where it is right now. I coach women in 1:1 and group settings on how to eat with love and intuition. This means absolutely no restrictions, rules, or diets. It’s all about embracing permanent food freedom and living life on your terms!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As a young entrepreneur, there have been tons of ups and downs in my career so far! Most of these have come from fear and confusion about what to do next. As my own boss, I get the freedom to choose what I do on a daily basis and how I want my company to grow. While it’s an amazing blessing, the abundance of options can also be very overwhelming! I find that the confusion and overwhelm get worse when I fall into the “comparison trap” of looking at other businesses and women and comparing our situations. I would advise everyone, no matter your career of choice, to surround yourself with loved ones who can lift you up, build your own confidence daily, and focus on joy and gratitude in every moment. The pain will always be temporary, and there’s a lesson to be learned in every struggle that you experience.

My mission is to help as many people as possible live with love and intuition. I specialize in helping women eat in a way that feels amazing to their bodies, minds, and souls. This means that you’ll never hear me recommend that someone go on a diet or set a rule for herself. I have no idea what anyone should be eating…the only person who knows is YOU! That’s why I empower my clients to do the deep soul healing in order to unveil the facade of fear and lean into love. My work is quite different from other “intuitive eating” practitioners because I actually use spirituality and manifestation to help my clients tap into their intuition. In the medical field, intuition means “eat what you’re in the mood for”. In my programs, intuition means listening to your body’s subtle cues, accepting guidance from the Universe, and utilizing energy healing to expand our lives and feel abundant daily. As I’ve created my brand over the past few years, I’m especially proud of the lives I’ve been able to change alongside my clients. At the end of the day, empowering others to experience more love is what fills me up, and I will continue to do that as my business grows!
Do you recommend any apps, books or podcasts that have been helpful to you?
I absolutely love utilizing magical resources in an intentional way. The book that changed my life is Gabby Bernstein’s “The Universe Has Your Back”. I also owe a lot of my morning routine to Hal Elrod’s “Miracle Morning”. In terms of podcasts, I love “Almost 30”, “IGNTD”, “Manifestation Babe”, and my own podcast “Get the Glowdown”!
