Meet Tracey Gaither of Inspire Fitness Studios & Juice Plus in Orange County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracey Gaither.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was heavily involved in playing soccer for 23 years and then competing in Figure at 47 & 48 years old. After that, I just wanted to eat clean and pay attention to my health. As a personal trainer, I wanted to help my clients stay fit by eating real food, not by filling up on supplements and fad diets. I found Juice Plus, it virtually changed my health and my outlook on food in general. ,

I decided to make it my personal mission to inspire healthy living to everyone I knew. I was going pretty strong, till October 2014, I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. Catching it early made me realize that life is too short. I was given a huge gift to take care of this and get on with my life. So many of my friends didn’t have such luck at finding it early. I can attribute that to staying lean, I was able to feel and actually see the lump in my breast. I am at my five years mark now and going strong.

I am currently the Master Trainer at the Inspire Fitness Studios, where I get to ‘Train the World’, so to speak! We are a fitness production studio and we train locals on camera for live and on Demand workout videos for our Inspire Fitness app, that is in 70 countries worldwide. I have truly found my purpose in life. I get to workout for a living, sharing my love of Whole Food Nutrition with everyone I come in contact with.

I believe that we all have choices in life. It’s our attitude we choose to have that sets our paths in the right direction. When we have a hitch to get past we must move forward, onward, don’t back up, not even to gain momentum.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s not ever perfectly smooth! In October 2014, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I had a masectomy and got on with my life. When I found out I had cancer, and especially one that alters your appearance for everyone to see, I felt robbed of a block of time in my life that I could never get back. Not knowing how it was going to play out was the hardest. I just had to take it step by step and get through it, by deciding how I wanted to handle it.

Being in control or out of control, of my body, my life, was something that affected me the most. I just put my focus into my health and made that my J.O.B.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am proudly an Elite Trainer with the ISSA Company. I’ve been a trainer since 2006. I grew up in the weight lifting environments because my family owned bodybuilding gyms as I was growing up. I grew up around the masters in this sport. As an athlete, I incorporated weight lifting in my workouts and even competed in Body Building and Figure.

It wasn’t till I stopped competing that I found Juice Plus. It is a way to get whole food nutrition in capsules. I didn’t want to take supplements or vitamins. I found gold! Then in 2018, I was asked to be the Master Trainer at Inspire Fitness Studios. This was a dream job for me and still is. I love that I have a platform to share my knowledge with the world. You see, all our workouts are filmed live and streamed on an app that people all over are subscribed to.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Being a trainer at the top of my game, at the right place and time.
