Meet Toyin Lawal of Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry in Palmdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Toyin Lawal. She and her team share her story with us below.

Please kick things off for us with some background on the story.
Toyin Lawal was inspire by a great role model in life her mother. As a little girl, she has always wanted to help others and act as a Nurse and available to help other people who had a small cut or small wound or needed care one way or the other while in school. Toyin Lawal is very passionate about serving others and delivering the act of kindness this was demonstrated in her various medical missions across Africa, China and locally. Her compassion led her to pursue Nursing career. Toyin Lawal has been a nurse over three decades and had served in various Nursing positions in Critical Care, Cardiothoracic intensive care , Ob Gyn, Pediatrics and Nursing Leadership. Currently pursuing Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona.

Toyin Lawal serves as the Senior Pastor of Tabernacle Worship and Prayer (TWP) Ministries, headquartered in Palmdale California, USA. She is the Founder of Widows’ Retreat, a grassroots empowerment program in contribution to the 2030 agenda of the United Nations. Over the years, she has been able to support and economically empower over 3,000 plus widows globally and vulnerable youths through the Widows’ Retreat and various skills acquisition programs.

Toyin Lawal is the President of 1000 Women in Religion for global peace an initiative to promote United Nations Peace agenda SDG 16 globally.Toyin Lawal and TWP are part of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. As a Director of Peace for UNESCO, she is also leading a global peace movement through the 1,000 Women in Religion for Global Peace with chapters across United States, Africa and Europe and continue to grow more chapters.

Toyin Lawal is the author of the upcoming book My Next Level Declarations a life-changing book to help people break barriers and limitations and move to the next level in destiny.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I was at a point in my life when I was held bond in occurrences of life such that causes emotional pain and I do not know what to do and how move forward from negative circumstances .Getting stopped and held stagnant when miracles are near appear like failure at the edge of success. I was overwhelmed and exhausted and yet still pursuing destiny to the next level and move out of stagnation.

Life is not always easy .It is important to understand personal maturity and enlargement of capacity to experience next level in destiny and purpose. Constant evaluation of life is necessary. Exercise faith and be patient , do not focus on the problems or negative situations, do not give up or quit; it is time to go higher to new dimensions. Be consistent and have the positive end goal in mind.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry story. Tell us more about the business.
Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry is focused on developing globally competitive talents and responsible individual. Empowering people is at the core of what TWP do. It is what the ministry live for. TWP help women and youths identify, utilize and maximize their potentials. Tabernacle Worship and Prayer Ministry initiatives contributed to the decrease in level of ignorance and crime among young people. The initiative serves as an opportunity for the youth to develop their skills and talents; thereby making them a better person. They’re trained on soap making, catering and baking cake, fashion designing, hair dressing, bead making and leather works etc. This has helped the youth develop their immense potential, making them self-reliant and responsible citizens.

My next Level Declarations book is non-fiction book a devotional for 21 days that will help the reader break barriers through the power of prayerful declarations.  This book is the foundation for the next level coaching and mentoring program to engage change in behavior and positive life changing experiences.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I was able to achieve the level of expertise and knowledge through the favor of God. I believe in handwork, integrity, seeking knowledge and focus on her core values of service and people.

The major focus now is the My Next Level declarations a book which has helped me navigate the rough roads of life and break barriers of limitations.
