Has it been a smooth road?
I was raised by a single mother who had four children so things have not always been easy. The area I grew up in there were a lot of prejudices about African American men and people in general so I was very different than the people in my community on a social economic level. As a high school player, I had to fight a cultural barrier to even find playing time. This stemmed from my culture’s differences in style, haircuts, and expression. There were multiple times where I was sat in high school because of things that had nothing to do with being a good basketball player, a good student, or even a good person. Socially I’ve persevered through some challenging injustices that have never broken my spirit. Obstacles have been injuries early on in my college athletic career. Started as a Division One athlete at Michigan State University a knee injury forced me to transfer to Davenport University a now Division 2 university where I played basketball and ran track and field.
Recovering from knee surgery caused me to miss a full year but came back as an all American athlete my first year back post surgery. To being in the public eye and having an ex girlfriend fabricate lies about me to ruin things I have worked so hard for in life. There have been very many challenges or obstacles along my road to success but it is all about your mindset when you are faced with adversity. You can either give up or you can go harder. I believe that winning is an attitude and these obstacles all fuel my winning attitude and energy at the end of the day. I use every challenge as motivation to become a better version of myself.
Please tell s about your work.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Likes about the city Are all of the opportunities that there are to network and accomplish any specific task. There is a large number of resources to take advantage of in such a great place like LA.
What I like least about the city is how busy it can be some times I come from a smaller area so I am used to being able to do things without as much noise or commotion around me in regards to how busy businesses get or traffic times to travel from meeting to meeting, event to event, place to place.
