Meet Titou Molard of Titou Comedy Magician And Illusionist France in Culver City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Titou Molard.

Titou, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a French magician, I got contracted 6 years ago for a 3 month show in LA. My show was a success so I got extended for 18 months. After that, I didn’t want to move back to France so I got a Visa and able to perform all over the states and the world with my show since then.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s very difficult to go thru the process of moving from a different country. I had to start all over. Making new connections, creating new magic, new jokes for the shows…totally different culture and of course language. Not simple at all but I’m very glad I did it.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Most of my shows are standup comedy magic. I also do big grand illusions shows. The good things about it is that I have to create and change things all the time. I never perform at the same place and always meet different, interesting people. And of course I’m the only French magician in Los Angeles so that is for sure a plus for me to make a difference.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Los Angeles is definitely the right city for entertainment in general. A lot of people to meet and a lot of big companies to connect with. There is a big market for shows in general and magic. It’s for sure one of the best city in the states for that kind of job.
