Tino, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Since I was a child in I had a great passion for electronics. I loved disassembling my toys and adding little motors to my cars. At the age of eight, I began with my first real project. I soldered and repaired an auxiliary port on my recorder. From there I moved on to a television and my passion began. I then decided I would study electronics and someday be the owner of a big company working in a field I am passionate about.
In 2001 Apple released the first “iPod” which I immediately purchased. I was so curious to see the ins and outs of the device I decided to open it. From that moment on I fell in love with technology. For the next 9 years, I began to work in the car audio industry for AL & ED’s. It was a job I enjoyed it but my dream was never forgotten and the drive kept growing. I began working on cell phones then moved to updating computers as well as other software and hardware repairs. In that time I would have clients ask me about cell phone issues and I would take on the work.
As time passed my drive to achieve my dream intensified even more and in 2007 my dream was realized when I was handed keys to my store. LAPC Networking INC opened its doors on June 12th, 2012 and since then we have been helping more than 50,000 people as well as the local industry companies such as Warner Brothers, Bank of America and Universal. We specialize in IT work such as networking, website building and cloud services as well as other software & hardware related issues. We also work on cell phones everything from broken screens to water damaged and data recovery.
We also do work for local companies in Burbank and have a 5 STAR rating on YELP and GOOGLE which we maintain to this day. We are also part of the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. We have had the honor of appearing over 25 times in television programs such as news in both the English and Spanish channels. We also have a good following on Facebook with over 4k followers and we have a YouTube channel where I give tutorials as well as show repairs and new product unboxing.
We continue here happy and blessed to be able to do the work we love and to help others when they have troubles with their devices. My dream does not end here, an expansion will be the next level of my dream. Onward and upward always.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has not been easy, the main difficulty to start a business is the capital, We started with zero money, but eager to get ahead, another obstacle that is difficult to overcome is to find competent and reliable employees, all they say they know and in the end they do not know anything, but they want to earn a lot of money.
