Meet TEZ& MAJIA of San Diego,CA

Today we’d like to introduce you to TEZ& MAJIA

Hi TEZ&, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We both joined the military at a young age and met at out first duty station in Yokosuka, Japan. (2018) shontez was 19 at the time and Semajia was 20. We worked pretty close together, and of course that led to us flirting with each other. Our ship would stop at different countries and we called these liberty ports. We would get off the ship and start exploring these different places with each other. We moved pretty fast in our relationship and after 1-2 months we started to date each other. After about 1 year we flew back home with each other and we met each others family. Starting with Semajia’s family in GA. Then we drove 11 hours to Ohio to meet my family. We got our first house together in March 2021, where we welcomed our first and only baby girl. Around this time is when we decided to be content creators. After having our baby girl, of course our love and family grew even stronger and Shontez proposed and we got married at Japan City hall. The three of us stayed in our first home for 2 years. We desperately missed our family especially after having our first child and not having family around. we also both stayed in Japan for 5 years and was ready for a change, so we decided California would be the best move for us. We knew that we would also thrive more in the states with creating content, right now we create funny, family, loving and exploring videos. We want to inspire others and let them know that real couples, do still exist and you can still explore and travel with kids. Basically that life is what you make it, and you can have fun while doing it.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The only obstacle that has been in the road is due to Shontez being in the military he was not always home. Being stationed on a ship means he would be in and out, So our content wasn’t always consistent, but after moving to California, we knew this would help us because he not out in the ship so frequent and comes home almost everyday so we are able to put out more content.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Shontez works in the Military as he is a Boatswains mate. They usually work long hours and are know for pulling ships in and out and doing a lot of hand work. Yes, they pull and tug on the ropes to get it all tide up to the pier. Painting the ship is also a big part of this Boatswains mate job along with a lot of other tedious tasks. So I’ am definitely know for having a little bit of creativeness and for putting most of our videos together. My wife Semajia just completed 6 years in the Navy and is now a reservist in the Navy and perusing a Nursing degree. She is very creative, she loves singing, and she does most our shorts videos. As well as handle a hair business.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
“Shontez”
one time when i was nine and playing outside in front of my house and i remember i was playing on the steps leading up to the front entrance of the house, just jumping off the steps it was only 4-5 steps high and a bush at the bottoms to catch me if i fall. but that day the bushes were getting trimmed by my older brother and i jumped off the steps; my brother had just turned on the hedge trimmer and i noticed mid air that if i didn’t move my body in time i would get cut in the face ! so i altered my body and hit ground pretty hard. as i got up i checked my self to see if i was cut and i didn’t find any thing no broken bones or nothing , and i looked at my brother and smiled! as i started to give the thumbs up i noticed blood on my shirt… so i checked again this time with tiger paw technique and i felt instant pain to my index finger ! as i thought i was totally unharmed my finer tip had just knicked the hedge trimmer. when i looked down i saw the bone of my index finger and open finger tip skin flap barely hanging on. 7 finger tip stitches later and my favorite story ever
