Today we’d like to introduce you to Terre Moshe’.
Terre, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a medically retired Clinical Lab Scientist, Forensic Scientist & Veterinary Technologist.
I am a brain aneurysm survivor twice.
My service dog Adar a beautiful afghan hound & I loved to attend dog events & Volunteer as a therapy dog team.
Always looking for a way to supplement my income to support my family as a single parent.
Adar was discovered at a dog event by a famous photographer. Adar was a great model and photographer suggested I continue Adar’s training and pursue the entertainment industry.
With a background in biological sciences. I didn’t really know where to begin… I did a lot of reading and had photography friends help me develop a portfolio.
Through networking, I was one of the lucky ones who developed relationships with agents. Adar was a natural and loved being on set. Everyone loved working with him. Adar became the desired dog actor.
I believe the relationship between Adar & I & his work on Set shined through as a true gem. We were able to supplement our income, develop amazing relationships with Studios, Agents, Trainers in the entertainment industry.
Sadly, Adar passed suddenly January from acute kidney disease. But his memory will live on.
Forever grateful to close friends who found my new gem Shai afghan hound in Canada. I was devastated by his loss. I have the background & support of a great training team.
Shai is so loving, enjoys working on set kisses everyone. She’s already trained as my service dog, completed advanced obedience training.
Shai has the most beautiful soul. So blessed to have a companion who I can work with to continue our journey in the entertainment industry & enjoy at home with family & friends.
My three talented beautiful children have been my inspiration to always strive to inspire others and lead by example.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I am one of those people who always seemed to have to work harder than others to achieve the same goal.
It took a few years, after the first photography job to realize I would have to reinvent myself, lose my shyness, be more assertive, accept the disappointments, challenge myself to show others who I really am. To stand out and be seen by the right people in the entertainment industry.
My children were always there with their honesty & strength to keep me motivated.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
My company is training, promoting & management of my afghan hound Shai as a model & Actor.
I am most proud of how easily I have been able to train another afghan hound.
It takes a special love of afghans to understand their quirky loving unique personalities. I have developed own my style of marketing & I am easy to work with.
Shai’s agents Know they are getting a fun-loving trained actor by my history with them.
I believe what sets me apart from others is my very special relationship with my afghan hounds. We have mutual respect for each other, I make training always fun.
We are best friends & our love for each other is a gem.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Looking forward to love & enjoy grandchildren someday.
Spend as much time with family & friends as possible.
Shai & I are planning to pay it forward training as a therapy dog team to work at Ontario Airport to relive stress of passengers & staff.
I am always looking for new exciting horizons for us to share together.
Shai would be fabulous as a regular in a TV show or sitcom. We would love to do movies. Something we can count on for a regular salary to supplement my disability.
In the meantime, we will continue to work as new exciting projects are proposed to us.
