Tara, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
A little about me personally. I’m originally from Upstate New York and moved to Southern California in 1985.
I graduated from Cal State, Long Beach (CSULB) in 2000 with a double Bachelor of Arts (Kinesiology & Athletic Training). I learned about athletic training and sports medicine in the training room at CSULB around future professional athletes like Misty May-Treanor and Jared Weaver. I began my teaching career as a Physical Education (PE) teacher in 2002 and returned to CSULB in 2006, completing my Master of Arts in Secondary Education.
My family is very dear to me and I love spending time with them. My brother played professional hockey in the 1990’s and my sister is also an elementary school teacher. I’m married and reside in Orange County.
I first learned about Fibroblast treatments from my sister-in-law who had a Fibroblast treatment on her neck, to tighten, rejuvenate, and lift the skin on her neck naturally. I was intrigued at what Fibroblast did for her, so I decided to research the science behind Fibroblast treatments.
Considering my background in sports medicine, specifically how the body heals from injuries, I was intrigued at how Fibroblast treatments worked. Using your own body’s healing process, a Fibroblast treatment stimulates collagen in your body which causes the skin within the treated area to rejuvenate, tighten, and lift naturally. I completed my initial Fibroblast training in 2022 in Newport Beach and started my business shortly thereafter to provide quality, customer centric Fibroblast treatments here in Orange County and the greater Southern California area.
As my client base began to grow, I wanted to enhance my knowledge about Fibroblast treatments so I completed a Master Level Fibroblast training class in Beverly Hills in 2023. I also returned in 2023 and completed my training in Jet Plasma, another natural skincare treatment I provide.
Considering the current “Clean Beauty Revolution” where people are moving away from Botox, fillers, and surgical treatments Fibroblast and Jet Plasma are both great natural alternatives and can be used by women and men alike
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a smooth road so far. Like any other new business, building a client base is a slow and steady process.
Fibroblast skincare treatments originated in Europe in the 1990’s to treat scars and stretch marks. Fibroblast skincare treatments came to the US in the early 2000’s.
While Fibroblast, and Jet Plasma, skincare treatments have grown in popularity over the years, there’s still a segment of the population who aren’t familiar with them.
I wouldn’t say there has been any struggles with my business, just continuing to educate people and raises awareness about Fibroblast and Jet Plasma skincare treatments.

I believe what sets me apart from others is the positive relationship I develop with my clients early on when they first come to me for a consultation. I’m most proud of my business through the relationships I have built, and continue to maintain with my clients. Early clients have referred their friends to me as clients and I really appreciate the brand recognition I have received.
