Our Biggest Challenges: Living Between Two Worlds
Our journey has been shaped by challenges that tested not only our relationship but also our individual identities. As a lesbian couple navigating societal expectations and personal transformations, we had to learn how to grow together while staying true to ourselves.
The Challenge of Redefining Ourselves
Before Tanja and Vanessa became a couple, Tanja was in a long-term heterosexual relationship. Her life followed many societal expectations: a traditional path with a partner, a career, and future plans that seemed secure. Yet deep inside, she felt a void, an indescribable sense that something essential was missing.
When we met, it felt like finding a missing puzzle piece. But this connection brought its own challenges: Tanja had to confront her identity and accept the implications of this transformation for her previous life.

Our dream is to create a TV show where we can work holistically with couples. A concept reminiscent of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, but specifically designed for relationships.
In this show, we envision helping couples on every level: emotionally, practically, and creatively. From navigating communication challenges to redesigning spaces that foster intimacy, we aim to inspire couples to rediscover joy and connection in their relationships.
A Show That Breaks the Taboo
We want to create a platform that normalizes the ups and downs of relationships. Many couples feel isolated in their struggles, thinking they’re the only ones facing certain issues. Through our show, we want to demonstrate that these challenges are universal and nothing to be ashamed of.
By sharing real stories, offering guidance, and showing the transformative power of small changes, we hope to provide couples with the inspiration and tools to grow together. Our goal is to help viewers understand that growth is not only possible but something they can achieve in their own relationships.
