With 23 years of experience as an esthetician, I have developed my own unique style of service while specializing in the most current treatments and finding the best results with added care and relaxation.

I am finally in a beautiful, tranquil place of my own, where I offer the best skin care treatments customized personally to each client’s skin condition and lifestyle.

Quietly nestled away in a private bungalow in Santa Monica, this serene oasis is a tranquil escape from your everyday bustle.
Offering the best experience and result, you will leave feeling calm and relaxed with radiant skin.

Services include Oxygen Facials, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, Age Defying Firming Facials, Radiant Lift Facials, Teen Facials, Acne Facials, Peels, Masks, Waxing, and Tinting.

The products I use and have available are only products that I personally used and selected because of their results.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Thankfully it has been a fairly smooth road, starting about 7 months ago and I have never been happier! This is the first time in my life I have been self-employed and self-empowered. The challenges have been mostly anticipated, like startup costs, equipment, products, licenses and type things.

One of the biggest obstacles I continue to have, is that being in such a private and serene space, there is no walk-in business and have received many of my new clients from word of mouth and referrals.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Tammy’s Bungalow Spa story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in a variety of facial and waxing treatments. I am definitely known for my specialty facial treatments and unique treatment relaxation experience.

I am proud of myself for finally going out on my own. I only use products that I have personally used, use or have tested.

I indulge my clients with the use of products, materials, and techniques they need for best results and comfort, and not portioned time, products and materials dispensed as by many big salons.
It’s my personal care, my personal touch.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I feel very lucky to have found this location for my business. Aside from the challenges of its location, I have not had a single client who has not had something fabulous about it.
