Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamara Anderson.
Tamara, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My cannabis story started when I was young but developed once I became a mother and entrepreneur. Culinary and Cannabis was birthed out of the request from client to bake with cannabis and from my personal life with my son’s realization that cannabis was a need for him and not a want.
The journey started with the desire to self educate until I realized there were others like me who were professional and had the desire to learn and experience cannabis but there was no space for me.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road at all the first struggle was learning how to approach venue to host event as the stigma attached with cannabis caused them to be cautious.
Culinary and Cannabis – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Culinary and cannabis is an alternative interactive sensory event planning company. We curate events in all things cannabis outside of smoking but we touch on all your senses through food, massages, education and more. I am most proud of is that we have a reputation for creating beautiful sophisticated personalized cannabis events. Culinary and cannabis events stand out because we create comfortable places for everyone to learn about the benefits of cannabis.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
One of the most proudest moment is when you get and email from someone with chronic illness who attended one of our Cannaspa events and was able to return back to work after being at home on disability for years due to narcotics medication but found relief from a product they started to use from a brand found at one of our events.
