Today we’d like to introduce you to Tallia Deljou.
Tallia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always been fascinated by how we define who we are and find our sense of worth. I’m driven by a fierce curiosity to explore what matters most in our human experience – purpose, meaning, fear, compassion, vulnerability – which led me to pursuing my Master’s degree in Positive Psychology at Claremont Graduate University back in 2014. My sense of purpose was shaped at an early age as I watched my mom struggle with finding her sense of worth through external validation. Now, a main part of my work as a coach is helping people cultivate deeper relationships to themselves and find their sense of personal power within. I wake up every day with a determination to help people find a sense of purpose and place in the world.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s never a smooth road, but the bumps are the only way we grow and take necessary turns in new directions we wouldn’t have otherwise known were possible. It’s been a lot of trial and error, working through fear or judgment, and finally learning to own my gifts instead of hide them. My biggest struggle has been running a business by myself – there are a lot of hats to wear, not to mention the isolation that comes with working from home everyday.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
With a background in Positive Psychology, I bring a new perspective and approach to helping people find their purpose and place in the world – it’s about redefining success, uncovering what’s holding you back, discovering your strengths and confidently stepping into your authentic self. My favorite thing to do is create community and connections through meaningful conversations. I host a podcast on inner work called “Sincerely, Me,” and outside of my coaching programs, I have an online community, resource-hub and book club for personal development with people from all over the world. I feel the most energized when I’m teaching workshops, leading webinars, running retreats and guiding people through their process of self-discovery,
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Yes! Looking forward to a new season on the podcast, an upcoming retreat in Bali, and welcoming hundreds more into my personal development book club! I’m also currently working on a six weeks program called Power by Purpose- 50 people are going through the beta group now, so I can’t wait to share their stories and open doors to more folks!

Megan Gallagher: Hi! My name is Megan Gallagher! I’m a 24 year old 2x TED speaker, #1 best selling author, afterbuzz tv host, mental health advocate & podcast host! I am very passionate about helping teenagers and changing the school system to have mandatory classes about self love, mental health and following your dreams! Growing up, I started struggling with anxiety as young as three. As a got older, I became more aware of my body and by 14, I knew that something was wrong and I needed help. It was really scary to be sitting in class(in High School) and all the sudden feel hot, sweaty, a fast heart rate and like I was going to pass out. These “episodes” happened every day, in all seven of my classes. After a few months of struggling, I decided to sit my parents down and vent to them. It was so scary and surreal, yet I felt so understood and safe. I then started therapy for three years and went on a journey to discover who Megan was. Now, having overcome it all and being in such a different place in my life- I have dedicated my life to being that person I craved as a teen. I speak at middle schools and high schools across the country in hopes of spreading positivity and inspiring teens to reach for the stars!
