CTRL Collective was created for entrepreneurs, creatives, artists, and inventors. Our CEO is a serial entrepreneur and when he was using coworking spaces he couldn’t find the community and resources for people to move forward. David Bren (CEO) set out to create a place where people built genuine relationships and provided amenities for members in the Community to move forward.
On June 8th 2015, the Playa Vista facility was opened in the heart of Silicon Beach, CA. We strive to always be involved with our internal community as well as our external community.
We are deeply passionate about the success of our staff and our members. Creating a place where people work, thrive and push towards their goals.
Has it been a smooth road?
Being a business owner is ANYTHING but easy. We have of course experienced hardship. We have had to malleable and flexible.
The key to our success has been sticking to our vision and not compromising on how our company was going to change the dynamic of creative office.

We are a coworking space – what is coworking? The use of an office or other working environment by people who are self-employed or working for different employers, typically so as to share equipment, ideas, and knowledge.
That is the wiki definition – here is ours- We offer collaborative and office membership for pioneers, creators, inventors, artists, and startups to flourish and elevate their level of success by creating and environment and amenities where cross pollination happens daily and building relationships is not the exception.
We really focus on CTRL Collective providing office with a lifestyle component. There are so many smalls details that make us different. We are obsessed with excellence not perfection, another company mantra is building relationships first and business second.
I am SO proud of our team. I am so in love with how are staff has adopted our mission, takes it to heart, and makes it a living reality that our members in turn take, adopt and give that out beyond our four walls of our space.
We believe that although we may have competitors we are in a different area, we aren’t concerned with what anyone else is doing. We are hyper focused on building our company and creating the reality daily. That is what sets us apart, when you know the product you offer is great, your staff is utterly amazing, you have gorgeous events, incredible classes, and passionate members really, what more can you aim for?

Our city is SO diverse and we absolutely feel with our approach of accepting every shade of business owner in the spectrum of entrepreneurs we are redefining how creative office is interpreted.
At the end of the day it really depends on the company and individual needs we have an incredibly high success rate with being able to broach the subject with every person that comes in to tour. We are definitely proud to say that we have learned to identify with a diverse palate of Los Angeles Natives.
Pricing:
- Collaborative Nights and weekends membership $79.00 -6pm-9am Monday-Friday and Saturday and Sunday are available all day
- Collaborative Part time membership – $199.00 – 10 days a month any 10 days the individual would like
- Collaborative Full time membership – $349.00 – 24/7 – 365 days a year access
- Offices Range from $1500.00 – $10,000.00 per month depending on office size and location
