Meet Rose Decker of Take 3 Talent in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rose Decker.

Rose Decker is a model and commercial actor. While she is based on the east coast, she is represented bi-coastally and internationally. She started at just 14 months old when her mother, now turned “momager”, heard, “Get that girl an agent!” way too many times. In just over a year, she has been building herself quite an impressive resume!

She has an amazing ability to focus, listen and give the camera exactly what it wants. The feedback from industry professionals to her parents is “be prepared”-she could be a super star.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Rose started with an NYC agent, got a few little jobs and her mom, now turned “momager”, learned a lot about how this industry works. They also wanted to make sure this was something Rose would, first and foremost enjoy and secondly, be successful at. It was very clear immediately that this was a path worth pursuing. Rose shows up on set happy, focused and ready to get in front of the camera! Often times, her mom would have to literally hold her back to keep her from running out on set when they weren’t ready for her yet.

After about 9 months, they decided to explore switching to the very successful, bi-coastal Take 3 Talent. They represent children, teens and adults for television, film, theater, commercial, voice-over, print, hosting, comedy, and branding. As a “boutique” talent agency, they are extremely selective in who they choose to represent. In October of 2017, Rose met with the wonderful agents of Take 3 Talent in Manhattan and was offered representation. This proved to be a very good decision!

Take 3 Talent – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
If you go onto Rosedecker.com, you will read these testimonials under “working with Rose”.

“Rose was an absolute doll on set. She listened well and cooperated with the wrangler. She’s so well-behaved, especially for her age. We would love to work with her again!” -Michael Kormos Photography

“I worked with Rose on a video shoot and she was the most professional two-year-old I ever cast. Not in a staged, stiff way. She was just her happy self the whole time, taking direction but adding her own touch of whimsy to every pose. Her stamina is amazing, but that smile though!” -Margo Tomsey, Creative Director, Little Star Organics

“Working with Rosie was all songs and dance, fun and smiles. Looking forward to working with her again!” -Dvori Eckstein, Sweet Pea Photography

“Rose is such a darling! It was a pleasure to have her in our spring ’18 lookbook. She is easy to work with, smiley and sweet and ‘mature’ for her age, she got along well with the other kids on set.” -Radha Nadkarni, Marin + Morgan

“Rose photographs beautifully! During our on-location summertime shoot in 2017 for a clothing brand, she was a friendly, sweet, cooperative baby to work with!” -Elizabeth Pettey, photographer.

What sets Take 3 Apart from other agencies is that they really take the time to get to know their talent. They are always sending Rose to clients where she would shine, as you can see from the feedback we’ve received.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
This past February, at just 2 years old, Rose was asked to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week (Posh Kids Magazine) for Itty Bitty Toes (a high-end couture line by Egreis Gjergjani). It was amazing to see a child so young be so focused and poised, especially in front of an audience.

She has also worked with some of the best photographers and professionals in the industry. She was also in a commercial that aired during the Super Bowl!
