Today we’d like to introduce you to Tadeh Mangasarian.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tadeh. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I attended Cal State University Northridge where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. While attending university, I worked at a bank as a teller eventually working my way through the ranks to a Private Banker position.
During that time, I passed the series 6, 7, 63 and Life insurance exams and earned my securities licenses which allowed me to work as a Brokerage Associate. I enrolled in a strenuous program and earned a Certified Investment Management Analyst designation while I attended Wharton Businesses School’s executive learning program. After over 12 years of service in retail banking, I shifted my focus from retail banking to Mortgage Loan Advising. Advising clients with their finances has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy helping clients better their financial situation.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Naturally, life presents many challenges, some easy to deal with and others that require more time to vanquish. In my experience, there is not much that cannot be overcome by remaining focused and goal-oriented.
It’s easy to set goals but it can be challenging to stay focused. I found that it was easier to manage my long-term goals by breaking them down into smaller short-term goals and achieving them one at a time. This made it easier to conquer life’s challenges.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always looking to help my friends and family with whatever they needed. I was taught to always be a good person and instilled with strong family values from a young age. My interests included studying the piano, drums, and guitar, playing basketball, soccer and hockey with my friends and spending time with my large Armenian family.
