Today we’d like to introduce you to Ta Worraseth.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ta. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I came to LA 2010 with dreams. I enrolled in Musicians Institute’s Guitar Performance program call “GIT”. From the beginning, I just want to play like my musical idol “Allan Holdsworth” “Scott Henderson” etc. and gonna going back to Thailand for teaching or be an artist however ten years later, I’m still here in LA. Working professional full time as a Guitarist, Music Director, studio sessions, touring musician for a lot of artists here in US and International.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No! For me, I was lucky that family really support me on what I do. But at first after graduation it’s really challenge. I work on everything about music that I could find to pay the bill and be better in music that I love. Because everyone tries their best to perform, audition, etc. I still keep working harder and harder on my own musical knowledge and things to make sure every time I perform or sessions get on the point that I want. The hardest thing is you getting better on new stuff but not losing your old stuff too. I still always go to many places in get inspired by my musical idol as much as I can. Many times I think struggle is dealing with things like LA traffic, crew, time, etc.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
My work is pretty much four things now:
1. Guitar player for artists like D Smoke who won Netflix show called ”Rhythm and Flow”.
2. Music Director/Arranging show and music for international artists that came to US to performance concert.
3. Session guitarist for many artist/Tv show in US and International.
4. I am an artist myself create music the way I like.
I really blessed that working with amazing artist and musicians like D Smoke/Harvey Mason/Andrew Gouche just name a few of many more artist and musicians that I working with Music Director and arranged for Peck Palitchoke/Oat Pramote and a few more artist touring in US play guitar for The Masked Singer (Thailand Tv show) and The Rapper (Thailand Tv Show) and a few more Session for Top Artist from Thailand like The Parkinson, Peck Palitchoke, Burin Boonvisut, F hero, etc. and have more than 10 million views on many songs I was blessed to work on things that I love and really thank you for every single one of friends/artist/family/producer that push me on many things and trust me to work on your project and still do.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
For me, success is I can do what I love that can take care of my family and they can build up from me. Give my knowledge and attitude to people that they can do it and they can grow the way they want too. Give opportunities and knowledge to new generation is my goal too!
