Meet Sydon Arroyo of Sydon Arroyo, D.D.S. in Torrance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sydon Arroyo.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Sydon. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I attended the UCLA School of Dentistry where I graduated with honors in cosmetic dentistry and prosthodontics. I completed a post-doctoral residency at the University of Florida & Shands Medical Center that focused on dental implants and full mouth reconstructions. I’ve been in private practice for nine years during which time I have completed over 700 hours of continuing education. I teach every week at the UCLA School of Dentistry where I am a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. I like to spend my free time at the beach with my wife and daughter. My favorite hobby for the past six years has been Brazilian Jiu Jitsu earning a purple belt.

Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely NOT! I believe that the obstacle is the way and that if your path is smooth, you’re not aiming high enough. Fortunately, I enjoy the struggles that precede success. As for what the struggles were, probably every kind there is. But I’ve never focused on the struggles, only on what I’ve learned and the goals that I have set.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Sydon Arroyo, D.D.S., A Professional Corporation – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We believe in putting our patient’s needs first without compromise. Our goal is to make sure that your teeth last your entire life. We will do everything we can to maintain the health and appearance of your teeth so that you may eat, smile and live stress free.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The people. I love the people who make up the South Bay. I love our focus on healthy, happy living centered around family. I love our proximity to the ocean and all that comes with it. Least… having to drive 15 minutes to the freeway.
