Meet Susan Wolfe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan Wolfe.

Susan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I got started when I decided I wanted to completely change my life. I love making people laugh and helping them feel great about themselves. That prompted me to research becoming a health, wellness and life coach, and that’s exactly what I did. Right around the same time frame which was 2.5 years ago I tried to stand up comedy and that brought me to where I am today combining the two things that I love doing, empowering people and making them laugh…… sometimes at themselves.

Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest obstacle was overcoming my own personal negativity. I realized that my past experiences and some family dynamics don’t necessarily have to dictate what my future will be. I just kept pushing myself to be okay with feeling vulnerable and taking what felt like and sometimes continues to feel like a blind step, but a step.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I’m so proud of my personal growth first and foremost. I could never coach without having had most the experiences that I’ve had and continue to have. What my goal is, and what makes me a bit different from most coaches is the ability to bring humor to the table. That in of itself really plays a big part in how people relax and trust. I love being on the stage and do my best work from that medium where I perform/do my signature “What’s Sugar got to do with it” talk.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think it’s the perfect place to start. I came from Cape Cod and was very overwhelmed at times. So learning here in LA and just digging in and doing ‘it’ I feel is the best way. As overwhelming and maybe intimidating as it can be here, there are also unlimited resources. If you stay in the game and take continuous steps you will achieve. No doubt!!
