Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan Schueler.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always been a sensitive and been aware of the Spirit world. My first memory of conversing with a deceased person was when I was 6 years old. For many years it frightened me so I did all I could to shut these abilities down, but being a sensitive intuitive isn’t something that goes away, even when you want it to, so I finally surrendered into it and learned to fine tune my skills so I could help others heal and grow. I was a high school English teacher for almost 25 years before I decided to surrender to the Spiritual world full time, but I feel these gifts also aided in my teaching abilities with young people. I now do soul to soul reading for clients (psychic readings) and past life readings that allow people to release old patterns and take back their power, while teaching them that they are simply spiritual beings having a human experience. Mediumship readings (connections to loved ones on the other side) offer much healing and hope. I also am a co-host on a weekly radio show, “Angel Talk Tuesday” with OM Times Radio where I am a live channel for the Spirit world.
My teaching background still plays a large part in my life and I teach ongoing development classes with video on-line classes, and will be teaching a few classes this summer at Lily Dale in New York that are geared to help parents and their children to best embrace their budding psychic skills, so they don’t feel the need to hide them, as I did when I was younger. I also am often doing small group readings as well as psychic and mediumship demonstrations in California and New York. I am a certified grades 7-12 teacher in both New York State and California, and hold a BA and an MA in Literature, Women’s Studies and Theater Arts.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being a psychic medium can have negative connotations, as it summons up visions of crystal balls, tea leaves and tarot cards, but I am not off with the fairies. Rather, I am an extremely well-grounded individual who has learned to reign in her gift. I do not see this as a parlor trick, but an ability I am supposed to share with the world to help raise the vibration of the planet during these tumultuous times. I believe when you are on your correct life path, there will be a certain flow in what you do, and although this has not been an easy ride, it has lead me toward meeting the right teachers and helpers to move me toward my goals. Probably to help me better understand death, I have lost over 65 people in my life. By the time I was 20, 14 students from my senior class had already crossed to the other side, so as much as I tried to avoid death, it refused to be avoided.
This has aided me however in my Mediumship and many of my loved ones on the other side now serve as helpers when I do my work. I am an avid learner as well, and have spent more time and money developing my spiritual gifts than I did for both my BA and MA combined, and I still take on going classes and workshops with visiting British Mediums and attend Arthur Findlay College several times a year in England. This is the most challenging but rewarding thing I have EVER done in my life and makes teaching high school look easy.

I do mediumship readings, psychic readings, past life readings, small group readings and public demonstrations. People usually comment on my sincerity and honesty and how I have a healing way about me. (My energy heals others simply sitting with them, so often times people feel better when they leave a session, but don’t quite know why.)
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I wish I would not have pushed these gifts away and would have jumped into this work sooner. I feel I needed to experience certain other aspects of life which have allowed me to do this work with more human experiences to draw from than I would not have had if I started this work as a young adult.
