AMORFIRST had its humble beginnings in 2008 when the concept of crafting bespoke handbags from a fusion of wood, leather, and art took shape. These creations were truly unique and found their place in boutiques and the digital marketplace. However, life took a turn when I became a parent and had to temporarily set aside this creative endeavor.
Fast forward to 2017, two children later, and the passing of my beloved mother. This profound loss compelled me to reassess my life’s direction. In honoring her memory, I found the strength to revisit my dreams, specifically the revival of AMORFIRST. With its resurgence, my passion for design and jewelry also blossomed, giving birth to an array of one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect my deep love for craftsmanship and individuality.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has been far from a smooth ride – as with any endeavor, there have been highs and lows, and I’ve been learning every step of the way. One of the key challenges was finding skilled artisans who could truly grasp and bring to life my creative vision. Additionally, diving into the world of e-commerce demanded a steep learning curve, from website management to social media navigation.
Wearing multiple hats, from production and retail to marketing, accounting, sales, and fulfillment, can be an overwhelming workload. However, the effort invested is undeniably worth it. The determination to keep pushing forward, to expand and explore new horizons, remains the driving force behind it all.
