Today we’d like to introduce you to Steve Daswani.
Steve, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We started when I was visiting a friend out of town and he suggested we check out this new fun activity by him, so we did. After we left I realized this would bring great joy to anyone and needed to bring it to my home area.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Since it was a new and different business we have never done, there were plenty of obstacles that came up which we were not expecting however over time we adjusted and got it smooth.
Some of the many unforeseen struggles were licensing, insurance, finding best location, designing strong designs and rooms that would not be easily damaged along with educating the public as to what this business was.
Amazing Escape Room of CA – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We have served tens of thousands of satisfied customers since we opened up in September of 2015 and it sure has been a wonderful ride. Our customers are the #1 reason for our success and I believe that to achieve it we have to set the standard of customer service and satisfaction.
Amazing Escape Room takes reality gaming to a whole new level! We offer a one of a kind experience, and our customers consistently rave about how much fun they have escaping our rooms. Groups of up to 8-12 will work together to solve problems, uncover clues, and crack codes in order to progress as a team. You and your team have 60 minutes to escape the room. Each room follows a story line that you, the players, have now been pulled into, and it’s up to you and your team to escape through solving series of puzzles and clues.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success for us is simply in the faces of our players when they come out of the rooms. Whether they escape or not, most teams leave with a sense of accomplishment which, in turn, leaves us feeling successful as a business.
Through hard work and dedication we have been able to set the standard of customer service and satisfaction and hence built a name for our self in the market of escape rooms.
