Meet Stephany Lozano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephany Lozano.

Stephany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started a love for makeup over 11 years now. As a kid, I knew I had a passion for art I would always draw, paint  displayed beautiful colors on a canvas or on a coloring book. I discovered makeup when I was 18 yrs old that’s when I knew I had a strong passion for it and became a freelancer doing makeup on friends and family. In 2009, I booked my first job with a  great friend of mine Stephanie Rojas an amazing upcoming actress that invited me to be part of a web series she  played  a main role in called “My Real Life”.

I was fortunate enough to be the stylist for the show and explore what it felt like to be part of a production team. That’s when I knew I was made for the entertainment field and proceed to advance my career. Unfortunately, the web series only made it to 1 season and It took a major pause in my career. It was tough I wasn’t  booking jobs I became a mom and devoted my time to my children and was required to get a full time job to provide for my family .On January 2019, I decided to use Instagram as my platform to recover my career from where I left off. I started posting my work and received amazing feedback it boosted my confidence and motivated me to continue I became a beauty influencer I am able to share with the world thru social media my creativity and the love of being a makeup enthusiast. It has definitely open the doors for me to  great opportunities and collaborations with beauty company’s to being part of great photoshoots I been extremely lucky and god has really blessed me . A great quote that always sticks with me to get me where I am today is “Conquering the world like it’s my runway”.

Has it been a smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been easy for me being the oldest of four siblings fresh out of high school wanting to proceed a career in the makeup industry sounded like a dream but not able to become reality. My parents supported my dreams but it wasn’t able to happen financially but that never stopped me at an early age I got a part-time job at Chuck E. Cheese when I received my first paycheck I spend it on drug store makeup and decided to become  a freelance makeup artist. To me that meant a lot I remember calling my friends and having them over my house just to do there makeup that’s where I had all my practice I honestly laugh just reminiscing that time of my life . I am  truly blessed to have amazing friends who supported my love for makeup and let me practice on them that’s when I knew it wasn’t easy but it wasn’t impossible either. Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside of you that is greater than any obstacle.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am an entrepreneur, I am an artist I have a passion, I am a makeup artist, a beauty influencer that wants to inspire others. show my Mexican heritage in my work represent diversity in the makeup industry and be known as a strong independent Latina following her dreams. I am most proud of my accomplishments I have succeeded throughout the years I am a full-time mom and still strive to work in an industry that requires hands-on dedication I’m proud that I’m able to juggle everything I love. What sets me apart from others is I’m a very passionate person who just doesn’t give up I try to be very positive in any circumstances if it means I don’t book jobs or don’t get recognized that Doesn’t stop me I always applaud my work and continue my ambition.
