Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Weber.
Stephanie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My love for photography began when I bought my first DSLR camera to photograph my little ones milestones. I purchased a pre-loved Canon Rebel EOS T1i… ancient, I know, but I loved it! I always tried to get creative with it, and document moments I shared with my family. I simply just loved and admired the art in a photograph and the story it told, but never really got out there myself. I guess I just never imagined that I would be able to build a career from this passion.
My journey as a photographer finally began when my sister became engaged. This is when I thought to myself, “This is it! This is the push I need.” It was the perfect time for me to see my true potential. So I grabbed my Rebel and off we went. We did two engagement sessions, and I loved it! There was an instant connection with me, my camera, and my creativity.
Once I delivered the galleries to my sister, and decided that this is what I wanted to do; I then began to offer complimentary sessions to friends and family. From this, I was able to create enough content to build a portfolio. Within weeks of deciding to pursue this passion, I created a website, built a following on social media and reached out to other potential clients. My sister began to share my images, and she referred me to many of her friends, and they booked me! And then they referred me to their friends, and they booked me. And since then, my business has been blossoming and reaching milestones I felt would be so far away. ⠀⠀
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was an easy decision, but the process has not been so smooth. Being my own boss has presented me with many challenges. I am a mother, wife, student and business owner. There has been a lot of sleepless nights, early mornings, and constant self-doubt. My client hasn’t responded, they must not like their images? Am I not good enough? And the idea of just trying to keep up with everything! After all, I am the face of Stephanie Weber Photography, I am sales, marketing, customer service, accounting… the list just goes on.
Negative thinking doesn’t get us anywhere, so what this journey has really taught me is how to juggle multiple things at once and love it! Like, I mean really love it! Forget self-doubt, take the feedback, learn from it, and plan to do better the next time around. It has given me the urge to learn, to grow and appreciate everything that is needed to run a successful business. But above all that, it has taught me to not give up, and to dream big!

Based out of Orange County, CA I specialize in wedding and portrait photography. I am most known for engagement, wedding, maternity and family photography. When booking with me, I am ensuring to give you an unforgettable experience. I document moments, I deliver quality and pay attention to detail. I strive to deliver outstanding customer service and relate with my clients. During our session or in the process of wedding planning, I am your friend. I work with you every step of the way and create a safe and fun environment for us to work in.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I set out to be insightful for my clients, patient and organized, and because I come from a helping field, it is natural for me to want to get to know my clients. To help them, support them, and just relate to them. I strive to deliver an unforgettable experience through my brand and craft. In doing so, my clients have felt inclined to share their experience with others and return as they enter other milestones in their life.
