Hi Stephanie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Originally from Chicago’s Southside, Stephanie moved to Los Angeles at 17 years old to pursue her dreams of becoming a professional makeup artist. After working in the entertainment industry for many years, she found that doing hair & makeup for brides met her needs for meaningful work, connection, and the celebration part was a bonus!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
“I love being a business owner. In a lot of ways owning a business is like a relationship. Your partner is your mirror. They will trigger you and force you to grow. Being a business owner is the same. Business shows you how to take total responsibility, it shows you that what you put into it is what you get out of it. It’s equally a pain point and also so deeply satisfying and it’s always pointing out where I need to grow next because nothing stays the same… thats business, relationships, and life in general.”

Angeleno Beauty is a mobile hair and makeup team that serves brides across all of Los Angeles including Santa Barbra, Palm Springs, and San Diego. We also serve clients attending red carpet events, award shows and galas.
Need to get 40 executives hair and makeup ready for an award show? We have been there many times. We know how to plan for a smooth and fun morning of glam no matter the size of the group.
Most of our clients just want to look like themselves but leveled up, we understand, we listen and together we create a look that is perfect and unique just like them.

We know that for many of our clients, getting married is a first and they probably have never done this before.
