Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Flores.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
In a living room far away Port Hueneme, California a young girl finds her cousins ninja turtle camera with film still in it. She decides she wants to take photos of everything that makes her happy. It was at the age of 7 years old that I found the love of photography. I never thought in a million years it would become my career. I wanted to become a lawyer, and still do. I have two loves in my life helping people and creating beautiful memories that are going to last generations.
Please tell us about your art.
I create lasting memories for generations to admire. I am a portrait photographer who gives their clients the VIP experience. I use only the highest of quality photo paper, back my work with a lifetime guarantee. My inspiration is my grandparents who eloped after 6 months they only bought 3 photos from their wedding. If they didn’t purchase their photos I would have never known what they looked like on their wedding day 54 years ago.
Every client is unique which makes every portrait session unique. I hope that our clients take away portraits that will bring them back to a point in their life. I hope when they look at their portrait hanging in their hallway they are brought back to the happiest day of their life, or the moment they became a family.
Choosing a creative or artistic path comes with many financial challenges. Any advice for those struggling to focus on their artwork due to financial concerns?
Financial Challenges will always be there, you have to step out of your comfort zone to continue your art. I had to work three jobs to continue to be a photographer. I would work just to pay for seminars, workshops and new lenses and cameras.
